(Photo by Yongyuth Puphuangphet)KALASIN: At least 1,000 potted marigold flowers in the Kalasin municipality have gone missing, prompting authorities to step up checks around the clock. The municipality and volunteers have started placing tens of thousands of the potted flowers in key positions along roads in Muang district since last week to prepare for the royal cremation ceremonies for the late King Bhumibol. Workers and volunteers have found that at least 100 of them have been stolen from some locations. Kalasin mayor Jaruwat Boonperm on Sunday called on all residents in the district to keep an eye out for thieves.
